The World of G3 Ponies

Ponyville is a town in Ponyland where the latest generation of little ponies live. The ponies love to ride on rainbows and in hot air balloons and eat rainbowberry pie.

The Friendship Ball is a special event hosted each year. One pony will be awarded the Best Fried of the Year award. In 2004, Twinkle Twirl won this award for the dances she taught, but shared her prize with her best friend Skywishes.

Butterfly Island is a magical place, but it's also a secret place where the shy Pegasus ponies live. In fact, the Pegasus ponies are so shy that it takes a little encouragement for them to make new friends.

Round 'n Round will take your ticket for a ride on the roller coaster or Ferris wheel.

Have a cool smoothie drink or other cold, creamy treat.

Guava Lava will help you suit up for the big waves on the beach.

Wysteria discovers Spike the Dragon sleeping in a cavern far beneath Ponyville. She wakes him up from a 1,000 year sleep and becomes Ponyville's first Princess! She gets tired of all the attention, so she makes everyone in Ponyville a princess!

Home of the Breezies Ponies, small pixie-like ponies with small shimmery wings and bug antennae. They tend the gardens.

The Unicornia Castle.

Rarity the Unicorn tends to get into mischief instead of paying attention to her princess lessons. She uses the special magic wand to whisk herself away from Unicornia. With the help of the Breezies and Ponyville Ponies, Rarity has to get home in time to make the first rainbow of the season.

Other Odds and Ends

Rainbowberries are sweet little berries used in cakes, tarts, ice pops, and other treats found in Ponyville. There have been many artistic renditions of this berry, so there is no one way to draw them. The version shown here is from the Wishes Do Come True book. There is also a Rainbowberry Fountain in Ponyville and Rainbowberry a pony named after this delicious fruit.

Catch a kite and you catch a wish! This is a popular saying in Ponyville, where if you catch a kite that’s flying freely, you get the chance to make a special wish.

Some things are just, well, extra special! Skywishes is most known for this saying.
