Frilly Frocks Plush update: This message was added to
the official site today: Prior orders for the FRILLY
FROCKS pony are being processed based on the date received.
Each person who submitted an order will receive a written
response. Those who submitted orders after the inventory was
depleted will receive a refund of their points and
shipping/handling fee.
Breezie also reports she spoke with Hasbro, CAN, which might
offer the so-soft ponies along with your points back. They
are still discussing other replacement options with the
Rhode Island office. It is not clear if similar
substitutions will be offered in the US.

Samantha
reports finding the new Birthday Jewel ponies at Toys R Us
in New Jersey. Included in her find was: January Joy,
Fantastical February, and March Mischief.
Check pics here.
Frilly Frocks Plush update: Hasbro, CAN has begun the
process of declining orders it had received for the giant
plush pony due to limited quantities. It is
currently offering a
Baby So-Soft pony as a substitution. Many Canadian
collectors and parents are upset because this item is not of
equal or greater value than the plush they had ordered and
the order form indicates that substitutions will be of equal
or greater value. Complaints are currently being issued.
Hasbro, US has not been able to clarify this situation in
the states or verify which of the US orders will be filled
because they are still sorting them out. We will have to
wait and see.

Chibiusa789
reports that
A Very Pony Christmas might hit select theatres
this holiday season. The story will feature how Pinkie Pie
and her friends save Christmas. This move will be part of a
special program called Kidtoon Films, which is still
under review and the continuation of which will depend on
its success, so it's not a sure thing yet. The movie is
scheduled for October, 2005, but release dates are always
subject to change.
Lady Archer
reports finding Easter Egg ponies
Pinkie Pie and Butterscotch at Fleet Farm (which, by the
way, I forgot to put on the checklist, so I had to update it
again today. If anything else is missing, [haha] let me
know).
Lauranthalasa81
finds the new
Petal Blossom set (in plastic bag) there, too. Shlugh
shares pics of new
Easter items in the United Kingdom.
Glory reports
she got her Love Wishes, which she ordered back in
mid-December, when the form changed. Gosh, that was fast. :)
Maybe we'll see more orders showing up soon. |

more, more, more! Well, you never know, right?
(thanks, PonyRiot and others). The Toy Fair
in mid-February might showcase some of these
items...if only they would let me in the door. If
anyone gets to go to the US show, take pics, and
let us know!
Also, McDonald's might not have the MLP toys in
until the very end of the month, so keep your eyes
open, but it might be best to call them before you
go in. |

Hasbro
has updated us on the status of Frilly Frocks
(thanks, Hasbro!). Due to unexpected demand and
limited quantities of the giant plush, Frilly
Frocks will no longer be available for order.
Those of us who have already sent in orders are
wondering how many of those orders will be filled,
but we don't have any additional information about
that to share at this time. |

month. The set will include 8 ponies (thanks,

Serendipity, 2: Minty and Butterscotch, 3: Daisyjo
and Pinkie Pie, 4: Wysteria and Sparkleworks. No
pics yet. ;) |

Many
collectors have contacted Hasbro and Young America
about the shipping cost for the giant plush Frilly
Frocks, which was recently corrected on the order
form (it's 25.00, not 2.50). While it was
difficult to get a consistent response, Hasbro and
YA indicated that orders we've already sent in
will be honored, but additional orders will
require the raised fee. Update: Frilly Frocks has
been removed from the official site and is now
unavailable for order. I don't know if they will
accept new orders or if they are evaluating her
cost or availability. Hopefully, we will get an
update on the status of the plush soon, as I know
several collectors and kids were still gathering
points for the item and want to know if it will be
available at a later date.
Also,
MLPhunter reports that the Avon ponies will
be available for order in March. |

New
bunny-ears ponies spotted on auction. This one is
Pinkie Pie and Butterscotch (both in previous
poses).
See pics at the Arena. New
Perfectly Ponies (Heather Winds, etc.) seen at
Wal-Mart (thanks, kcat99). Here's
a link to those
semi-mysterious pony pics, like jewels,
easters, etc, for easy viewing. Here's the old

it. |

Yikes!
Hasbro made an error on their order form for the
Points Program. It's been updated and Frilly
Frocks plush now costs 25.00 dollars to ship and
not 2.50 like the other items. Collectors expect
Hasbro to honor orders they've already sent in, as
it was their mistake, and if I hear anything
contrary to that, I will of course report it here. |

More new pony pics at the Arena! Looks like Spring
Basket ponies and one birthstone pony. I updated the
main G3 page with a new picture for 2005. I
hope you like it. Also, there are only two Valentine's
Day ponies. I couldn't tell you why there isn't three,
but maybe they didn't think they would need as many
characters for smaller holidays. Two more days until my
birthday! I'm going to be 29, since everyone's been
asking me... :P ;) |
Jan

Oh,
wait! One of the birthday ponies we thought was
March is actually December Delight (thanks
Caroline). She reports that she found her and
other birthday ponies at Target (due to shipping
error, apparently). Rats, they didn't get any at
my Target, lol. New Butterfly Island ponies at
Toys R Us in both the US and parts of Canada...
and new Twinkle Twirl handbag at Target (thanks,
Addie). No pics, but I saw it and it's
cute. (Of course, I think all the bags are cute.)
Books! The new books are out now (thanks,
everyone). |

Autumnberry reports that the green baby pony,
which originally came with Petal Blossom, has been
reissued in some of the jewelry box sets and can be
found at some Toys R Us stores. Previously, this pony
was issued without a name, but now she has been given an
official name: Baby Flower Flash. Of course, since many
of you have already given her a name, you might just
want to keep the one you've already chosen, but we'll be
updating here with the new info.
The
small plush ponies with yarn hair can be found in
the 3-pack at places like Meijer, Wal-Mart, etc.,
but these ponies are also sold by themselves and
have been seen at Target. Sparkleworks is
available in this group when sold alone.
There are new Play-doh items for ponies, too.
First, there are small canisters with pony
stampers on top, which stamp out their symbols
(Rainbow Dash, Sunny Daze, Pinkie Pie, and Twinkle
Twirl).
See pics here (thanks, MLPcrazy). Those
are around all the stores here by me, and I figure
elsewhere, too. Second, is the
Amazing Paint Brush (thanks, Kitty Meow
Meow Head).
MLP foam chair! (thanks, TraderTif).
Canada is getting the McDonald ponies, too.
Hopefully we'll see them soon.

Happy
New Year! December, May and January birthstone pony courtesy of
hchask and Isabel.
Have a look. *bounce, bounce* Last I heard,
they were in the Toys R Us warehouse in the
states, but haven't shipped to stores yet, so
these are just more pics for you to drool over. I
also heard something about a new Wing Wishes pony,
Blossomforth with free Spring Fever (Toys R Us
exclusive). And some other new ponies that people
haven't quite figured out yet
here at the MLPTP. Of course, this is probably
old news by now! Haha! |
