Dove
was a "Baby Alive" My So-Soft Baby pony,
available at most stores in 2004. The term "Baby Alive"
led to some confusion when Petal Blossom's name
was sometimes given as Baby Alive on her packaging
(instead of Petal Blossom), but here is an excerpt
from the Hasbro site that hopefully clears that
up:
PETAL DOVE may be the sweetest pony ever, and she
needs you to love and care for her! PETAL DOVE is a
special BABY ALIVE pony who makes real, cute baby
sounds! Press the little heart on her foot and she
giggles. Feed her, and she makes drinking sounds!
And when it’s time to put her to bed, she yawns
before falling asleep!
