Boomba spots Tiny Tins Ponies on eBay. Coming to
US stores soon... US stores seem to be getting the
Spring Basket in now or very soon... sounds like
some Targets got some in.

K-B Toys
announces, due to its recent financial state that it
will close several of its stores. You can view
information about this, including store closings, at
http://www.kbtinfo.com. (Thanks, Dinogrrl
and Spirit Dancer 3). Collectors wonder if
this will affect the availability of K-B exclusive
MLP merchandise. Unfortunately, there is no
information to share regarding this at this time. In
other news, Selsey found
MLP clothes at Peacocks in England. In Canada,
Baby Ice Crystal convinced a very helpful Toys R Us
employee to help her look up new pony stuff. Super
Hairs have two separate SKUs. One for now and one
for late February (not sure who/what/may be promos).
Also there is a Dress Up Ponies listing for now and
Pony Fashions listed for late February. Tiny Tins
also confirmed for Canada in late February. So,
looks like more product coming out in late
February...

spies the Spring Basket in the hands of US
sellers... so they must be out somewhere... but
where? *sends out the hounds* Baby Boomba
also spots a G3 pony tricycle...

Ilfiorelaluna
has
pics of new book covers from the back of the
latest book. These are scheduled for release in
March. Tickledsunriser also has images to share of a
MLP book stand sign she was able to find. It has the
green/teal-haired version of Minty on it (as some of
you may recall, they changed her hair color to pink
at some point during product development).
Strumberry found the Spring Basket in the US at
her Navy Exchange. So we hope that means the item is
not too far off for the rest of our stores... she
also found the velvet doodle pics at Kmart. They can
also be found at Wal-Mart (thanks, Dancing
Butterfly).

the general assortment long-hairs in their neck of
the woods (Toys R Us and Wal-Mart). Heather
finds birthday supplies available at

found at Claires in Canada (thanks, Baby Ice

about
new ponies at Target from Nonos Mommy...
this confirms some items for the US this
spring/summer: Jewel ponies, Sparkle ponies,
Eveningwear Ponies, Twinkletwirl Dance (playset?),
My So-Soft Baby Pony, and Ballet/Ice Skating sets
(not sure, but price range indicates like a Slice of
Life set...might be one or two sets) These are not in stores yet, but should
be in some time later this year. It might be a while
yet...

charm necklaces (click image to the right) at Khol’s and Baby Fifi found

assortment of jewelry as well. The Toys R Us exclusive Tea Leaf
pony now spotted in the US and should be shipping in
to all TRU stores over the next few weeks. See some

Tanya found the Long Hairs and Spring Basket
at Argos in England today. These same items are due
for release on the 20th in Ireland (thanks, Coco
Berry). Oh, and I *think* I fixed the glitch in
the menus, so I'll be updating those to the new
format this week. If later you’re browsing the site
and things get weird, it probably means I'm updating
at the same time. If things stay weird for more than
a day, drop me a line and I’ll see about fixing it. |

A bit of news on the 2004 line (thanks,
Lightninglover). This thread also includes a link to
a pic of the new
Dance Studio that is supposedly coming out this
year. Also a new pony named
Tea Leaf was spotted in Canada as a Toys R Us
exclusive (thanks, Stacypony). Spring
Basket and Super Long Haired ponies confirmed for
the
UK at Argos (thanks, Sootica2000 and
Cubeydoom).

Garden Glade, Bubblecup, and Wishawhirl found by
Arzosah in Australia (Kmart). The Spring Basket accessories
are some of those that
come with the Blossom Shop, plus the big bucket and
some fake grass. The Spring Basket is coming to the
US. We just don’t know when it will hit shelves. Glitter I ponies are back in stock

if you’re still looking. Also try

Baby Ice Crystal finds new pony names listed
in the US Trademark registry. The names are
Forsythia and Sweetsong.
What the heck is Forsythia? Also, Aussies will
see sales at
Kmart starting on Saturday (thanks, Satin
Slipper and MotherofPearlz). There is talk about
KB’s recent financial status, but for right now
it’s business as usual. More details when
available. |

Crystal Crown in Australia. Pics
included. She looks like Winter Snow! Collectors
were a bit disappointed to learn this, but at least those who were unable to get
the Euro-exclusive Winter Snow will be able to get
her counterpart. I’m sure the kids won’t mind much...in
fact I know one little girl who is going to love
getting a new Crystal Crown pony ;). In other news, Kieko reports that a friend
of hers at Hanna-Barbera says he has reason to
believe a CGI pony movie or series is going to be
airing soon. He received some computer tests which
Hasbro aired as the CGI commercial for the toy.
Apparently, the commercial was a test run
meant for a TV show pitch. He says this and other
animated sections by HPG are going to be submitted
for approval for the company to air... hmmm...
interesting suggestion. Pookiepup found more
bath and shower gel bottles in the shapes of the
new ponies. |

Crystal Crown at my K-B Toys store. Rats! ;) Hasbro
sure has been teasing us with this pony. We really
want to know what she looks like! And now the wait
continues as we look forward to even more 2004
products later this year. Though they are not
confirmed in the US yet, new rainbow and glitter
ponies are scheduled for 1st quarter release in
Australia (that’s Jan–Mar) and so we expect to see
them in the US sooner or later, but there is no
indication yet of when they will be released (we
originally heard about this back in mid-December,
but thought it worth mentioning again). We also
expect the Spring Basket to be out some time before
Easter, but that’s just a guess at this point. In
other news, I did get snow for my birthday. Lots of
it. Brrr... |

Well,
hello there. Here’s the new section. Nothing too
fancy (no time for fancy yet, lol). I tried to
streamline some things (both for your benefit and
mine), so I hope this works OK for most people. Yup,
you have to go and update all your old links now.
*ducks the wet fakies* Some sections here are
currently deprived of info, so the old site sections
will remain active until I fully update this place
(see link above). The old pages will no longer be
updated and eventually I will start picking them off
one by one...mwhaaa...
PS There are three menus bars, the main menu bar,
the 2003 menu bar, and the 2004 menu bar. I'm still
fiddling with these... and you will notice I moved
some of the latest 2003 ponies to the 2004 lineup.
Since we don't have an actual "official" list
indicating a clear divide between 2003 and 2004
products, ponies might yet continue to move... and
if you notice any errors due to content transfer,
just let me know. |

Sweetsville Fakies...er...I mean ponies from Barbie's Kelly Club
line are now out. Strawberry Shortcake is also coming out with a
couple of Strawberryland Fillies. I may be biased, but the MLP are
so much cuter. NEW MLP BIRTHDAY SUPPLIES NOW BECOMING AVAILABLE. I'm
still trying to figure out who makes and/or carries them.
New
Chibi ponies! As usual, Baby Ice Crystal gives us much delight
with her tiny little decorative ponies. Adopt one today! Also check
out
Rainbow Flash’s MLP site for some 80s ponies in the G3-style.
New stickers found in Canada made by Sandylion. They distribute in
the US, too, so I imagine we will find them here. Be on the lookout
for this
new coloring/activity book later this month (releasing 1/20/04).

Welcome to a brand new year of pony collecting! I’m currently
reordering the 2003 portion of the site and uploading 2004 (or what
will be 2004). I may be back tonight with some news updates. We’ll
see how it goes. Some portions of the site will probably go down
over the month of January, but should be back up by the end of
January. If anything goes down that you absolutely have to have
access to, just let me know.
Again, I'd like to thank the everyone for her (or his) efforts in
helping to keep other collectors up to date on current events. You
play a large part in this success, so don't forget to give yourself
a pat on the back! I'd also like to thank people for their
enthusiasm, but I'd like to remind that my personal
photographs/graphics are not intended for use on other sites. You
are always welcome to ask first, though. :)
