Updated Dance Jamboree and Blossomforth profile.

Found Blossomforth at Kohls. More pics tomorrow. I know, I’m such a tease. Interesting things to note: pony is white with dark pink hair, no tinsel, and in Sparklework’s original pose. Her backcard story: Blossomforth is ready to rock ‘n’ roll, and she can’t wait for her friends to join the fun! After she gets dressed up, it’s time to play some songs and get out on the dance floor! All her friends are sure to have fun at this magical, musical party!

The castle has been reissued in a new box. While there was some talk about the castle possibly being updated, too, the one I looked at was not much different. The turrets still do not slide into place and the balconies are still loose. I did notice that this one came with different-colored accessories that the one I currently own (pink brush, comb, and crown; yellow tea pot and plates; orange forks and sauce pan). Of course, the castle is already known to come with different colored accessories, so that might not really mean much. Dance Jamboree with Blossomforth found at Kohls in Indiana (thanks, Kelly). We assume Blossomforth will be a part of the regular line. A second Blossomworth was spotted in Ohio (thanks, Jocelyn). Her accessories are light blue instead of pink (pink is shown on the packaging). MLP comic found at a newsagent in England. It’s a Special Issue for Oct 22, 03 and comes with free hair bobbles and stickers. The comic includes stories, puzzles, coloring pages, a mobile and a poster (thanks, Selsey).

MLP coloring books are now in Singapore (thanks Wiggles and Windwhistler). Lots of Winter ponies showing up at Targets this week. If you haven’t found them, try again!

In the UK, buy over £20 worth of pony products and get a free Kimono backpack or purchase separately for £4.99 (thanks, Rainbow Magic). Sarah spotted the cafe value pack with the new Sparkleworks, so looks like there will be both versions? Mervyn’s now has bath towels, pillowcases, and a fleece MLP blanket (thanks, Indiglow and Tickledsunriser). Got Dazzle Surprise? Nope, nobody else either yet. It's been 10 weeks since some of us sent in our points for the point program (if you sent yours in the first few days). We assume there is a delay of some kind, either shipping- or inventory-related. We expect our package show up in the next 2–3 weeks. Also keep an eye out for the latest MLP commercial. This one features the castle and airs on those channels like Nickelodeon.

Our Target put out lots of holiday toy stuff today, but no Winter ponies. However, some people are having luck finding them around the country. You might want to take the DPCI number for the Winter ponies with you and insist they look it up: 086-02-0329 (thanks whoever found that first!). The www.mylittlepony.com site updated with a picture of the cafe value pack. Interesting to note, the image shows the cafe with the NEW version of Sparkleworks (thanks, Cyanmoon), however the cafe value packs currently seen had the OLD version included in them. Will there be cafes with the new Sparkleworks? Let us know if you spot one! New forum opening up for pony people at International MLP.

Well, it’s Oct 19. Target Winter ponies were suggested as having an Oct 19 or Oct 20 shelf-date. Did you stop by and see if they were there? None by us yet! :P In some areas they may not be available until after Halloween.

A G3 Unicorn! Found by Paint Kitty in Mon Petit Pony Magazine #2 (French). No one knows who she is or what her symbol is or if she’ll be a part of the line anytime soon. She might just be a character created for the comic. At this point, it's anyone’s guess. Reaper Fox discovers the 2004 MLP Annual in the UK.

Major layout updates to www.mylittlepony.com (thanks, Smawpaws). Still waiting on product image updates. I do believe I lost one of my Oct updates between the 11th and the 16th, so some of these news I’m repeating here (assuming I can remember what I said). Atari’s MLP video game has been released in Australia. Unfortunately, it looks like the 97+ PC game repackaged with the new logo (thanks, Sunribbon for the image). TRU is having a special promotion where you buy a pony item and get the A Charming Birthday video for free and Sunny Daze shoes are at Target with 6 points! (thanks, Strawberry_Swirls). The Great Rainbow Race interactive book and girls pony clothing was spotted at Target a couple of times (thanks Elaine and others). Mervyn’s and Meijer now has new pony bags for 15.00 USD (with 5 pony points), plus the pillow plushies, and Rainbow Dash backpack (thanks, Summerglow).  Sparkleworks mini-backpack and Pinkie Pie change purse spotted at Kohls (thanks, DancingButterfly). The new MLP bed set was spotted at Target, Mervyn’s and other retail stores. Buy the new bed set online (thanks, Lil Alley Cat and others).

Pinkie Pie was used earlier this year to promote MLP at the 2003 Licensing Show. She was given a modified symbol as shown. She was only given out at the show in a plastic baggie. However, a few of the special LSPP ponies got packaged in boxes and sent into regular distribution and ended up at some ToysRUS stores. Hasbro said it was a mistake, so no more of these Pinkie Pies should be shipped out. In the meantime, collectors have been checking all stores for this rare version of Pinkie Pie.

Hasbro reports that the Licensing Show Pinkie Pie was indeed an error and she was not supposed to be sent out to stores. So if you see one, grab her quick! (thanks, Nikidust). VH1’s 80s Strikes Back series features MLP in its 1984 special next week. Hasbro has also updated its product section with new jewelry and baubles (thanks, Ilfiorelaluna) and the new MLP books that are currently available, however the images of the new products, in particular the Wishing Well playset, are not up yet (thanks Heather and JoshRules4Ever). New MLP Coin Purse spotted on eBay (thanks, Julie).

Giant plush pony pillows now found in the US at Sears (thanks, Susie). This includes Pinkie Pie, Sparkleworks, and Sunny Daze as previously found at Burlington Coat Factory and Wal-Mart. Tea Party now out at Superstores in Canada (thanks, Laurie) and Kmart in Australia (thanks, Brightbow).  New pony pillow (circular with Rainbow Dash on it) and a Pinkie Pie suitcase (that rolls on wheels) found at Mervyn’s (thanks, TickledSunriser).

Found new rainbow ponies, Fluttershy, Tink-a-tink-a-too, Rainbow Dash II, and Sunny Daze II at Target. Rainbow Ponies Updated. A “Where Are They?” Board now active (thanks, Spacezinator for making the board!). If you’re interested, post about where you found your latest pony item. Categorized by states/countries (if you’re areas of the world are missing, post on the board and it will be added). Finally found an EZ-Bake MLP kit today. Mmmm...pony cookies. (No, you don’t need an EZ-Bake oven to make the cookies; most regular oven works OK, too). 

*Bounce, bounce, bounce.* Jemjam found NEW PONIES at Target in California! That included: Fluttershy, Tink-a-tink-a-too, Strawberry Swirl, and the reissues of Pinkie Pie and Sparkleworks! Which means 2nd Edition Rainbow and Glitter Ponies will be coming to US stores very soon! Ponytopia now updating: Tea Party, Spring Fever, and more.

Laura reports, “I called Hasbro and got them to call the Pony Points Program customer service and they told me they have cashed the checks and are just waiting to meet their quota for the post office. (They are sending everything out in bulk so it will be cheaper to mail)...Apparently they have not met their quota yet, because no one has received anything yet...” New Clock/Watch set found at Mervyn’s by BabyMedley.

Kimberly reports that some Targets are holding the holiday ponies in the back until Oct 20th when they reset the displays, so if you don’t see them, try asking for them.
