Throughout
the month of June, keep your eyes out for the new
ponies! While it may take some time for the ponies
to be delivered to different parts of the country,
they should start popping up in stores all over
the USA. (Sorry, no news about other countries,
but we hope the releases are also under way).

Today
it was announced that major warehouses (specifically
for Toys R Us) have received shipments of the new
ponies (one reporting 800 cases of the glitter assortment
and 2000 cases of the rainbow assortment). Our
great thanks to CyberSunbeam
for this update. Beangrrl also made a lucky
purchase at a store in Washington state. |

Updates
to the
Official MLP
webpage
now confirm the release in July 2003, though some
sources indicate that ponies may show up in stores
at any point in June and that global shipping has
begun. The movie that was slated for release in
October will possibly be released on video instead,
but it is also possible that it is being pushed
back for release in 2004. There is a video that
will be released with the new ponies, but it is
unclear what the content is. |

Ponyland
Reporter
MasqueradeLuvR
has more news to share with us about the new MLP
release. Pony points will be released on all product
packaging and can be exchanged for special products
(one of those products may be a pony after all).
Once products are on the shelf,
http://www.mylittlepony.com will be updated
with special promotions available through the points
program. Baby ponies and dress-up sets will make
an appearance in Spring 2004. Unicorns and Pegasi
will make their appearance in Fall 2004. |

A mysterious
guest logs into the MLPTP chat. The guest was actually
a Hasbro representative and we’re glad he stopped
by! Some of the information he shared included:
ponies will be released with a free video in some
areas, product shipping should start soon, so first
ponies may be available as early as June. Some of
the exclusive playsets are just early releases and
will be available on US markets in 2004. There will
be a pony points program to exchange for prizes,
but no exclusive mail order ponies as of now. |

Yet
another MIB Pony makes her appearance. Thanks Lavonia
for showing off
Sparkleworks to us! (Yup, she got this pony
as a special gift from Hasbro, too.) Sparkleworks
is pearly orange, with pink hair and shiny tinsel.
Her symbol is colorful fireworks. She comes with
comb and charm. |

Ooo...MOC
Rainbow Dash! Pony fans everywhere ogle
MasqueradeLuvR's
Rainbow
Dash sent right to her door by a very special friend
at Hasbro (sorry, you’ll have to wait until June/July
to get your own). Don’t you wish you were her? Is
it worth the wait? You be the judge. Things to note
about the pony are that she appears pearly, is a
little smaller than a regular 80s pony and she only
has a symbol on one side of her rump. It is unclear
if all ponies will have one-sided symbols. The release
is now scheduled for mid or late June/July. |

New 2003 puzzle products
are unveiled on the MLPTP thanks to Rainbow Magic
and Lightninglover.
A new pony is discovered. Her name is Blossomforth
and she’s white with pink hair and a purple flower
symbol (possibly the unknown white pony shown in
both French and German prototype images). Puzzle
